About

Having completed my training in Fine Art, I began studying Stained Glass at Digswell Arts Trust, Hertfordshire in 1976.  As a result of the influence of the Arts and Crafts movement, Digswell was set up by Henry Morris as an alternative to what he saw as the commercially motivated art colleges of Britain. I went on to teach at Digswell and have since taught and lectured on Stained Glass for many years.

I have produced many commissions from original designs for homes, hotels and restaurants; examples of my work can be found in Brighton, London, Paris, Mumbai and the South of France.

While architectural commissions remain the central part of my work, I also produce mobiles, mirrors, lanterns (internal and external), and a variety of richly-coloured window decorations. All my work employs genuine stained glass and metals, and is guaranteed to the original client.“For me, the secrets of great stained glass have always been sound design practice, detailed consultation with the client and a complete familiarity with the materials.”
